Through moving individual stories, epileptic patients tell us about their daily life. Their unpredictable and impressive seizures isolate them and prevent them from leading a normal social and professional life.
Faced with the difficulty of living with this disease, which affects one in a hundred French people, and the feeling of being different, the urgency of brain research has become apparent. At the Timone Hospital in Marseille, a team of neurosurgeons and researchers who are particularly committed to this disease welcome these people in a multidisciplinary care program, supported by state-of-the-art technology.
The disease now reveals its secrets, sharing with us the hopes of these men and women whose fight for a cure requires daily courage.
